The Mesozoic in verse

Hi,

As a quick follow up to my post on the Cretaceous I wrote a limerick about the Mesozoic. I intend to maintain the belief that you are laughing with me and not at me, whichever is actually the case. Enjoy!

The cont'nents are broken in pieces
And the dino family has many species
Until one dark day
A met'rite came over to play
And the number of dinos quickly decreases.

Hope you liked it. Feel free to post your own Geo-poem in the comments.

Matt

  1. The Mesozoic had widening seas,
And the dinosaurs from which everyone flees,
    But the death from above,
By the meteor we all love,
Brought those great reptiles down to their knees.
